Basic Malay Gamelan Workshop Itinerary (1 Hour 30 Minutes per Session)

Welcome and casual introduction among participants facilitated by the Astraloka team.
• Introduction to Malay Gamelan Instruments
Overview of each Gamelan instrument including name, sound, and role within the ensemble.
• Instructor’s Demonstration of Playing Techniques
Live demonstration by instructor showcasing proper rhythm patterns and playing coordination.
• Hands-On Basic Training Session
Guided practice session to learn and apply basic techniques on selected instruments.
• Fun Jamming with Astraloka
Group music session where all participants play together to experience a full Gamelan ensemble setting.
• Group Photo & Feedback Session
Closing with a photo session and brief sharing of thoughts or reflections from participants.Fees:
