In this hands on session, you will learn to craft beautiful handmade Ang Ku Kuih, a beloved treat from the rich Baba Nyonya (Peranakan) heritage, known for its soft chewy skin and sweet red bean filling.
You will master the art of preparing the colorful dough, shaping the kuih using traditional molds and filling each piece with delicious red bean paste. Fun fact: In Chinese, “Ang” means “red”, symbolizing good fortune. Traditionally, Ang Ku Kuih was made in Red, but today you will find in many lovely colors!
Perfect for a short vacation activity, enjoy learning a traditional skill and tasting your own sweet red bean Ang Ku Kuih at the same time!
